PRIVACY & SECURITY POLICY

We respect and protect your privacy. We collect customer information for the purpose of fulfilling our customers’ orders and to communicate with you about your order. We do not sell, rent or share and portion of our CUSTOMER DATABASE to third parties. However, we may disclose your personal information under limited circumstances if we conclude that we are required to do so by law.

Federal and California State law requires us to request identification from each consumer to prove that you are legally able to purchase alcohol: 21 years of age. To process an order, we require your name, home or other physical address, including street name and name of city or town, state, zip code, email address, telephone number, date of birth and credit card number. All of the customer data we collect is secured to protect against unauthorized access.

CHANGES TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In the event you wish to change any of your personal information, please contact us by written notification to our email address at dhalecky@huntersoakvineyard.com or call us at 209-727-3512.

UNSUBSCRIBE

From time to time, we may use your name and contact information to notify you of changes to the web site, new releases, special offers and events we think you may find valuable. If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving email offers, please send an email stating “unsubscribe” to dhalecky@huntersoakvineyard.com. If you have multiple addresses, you will need to unsubscribe for each address in order to be removed from our database.

ONLINE STORE POLICY

You must be 21 years of age to order or receive wine from us. All wine orders are sent with “Adult Signature Required” stickers, and the carriers that deliver our wines are required to check for identification upon delivery. Verification of age is required at the time of delivery. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. If this happens, the order may be held with the local shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.

SHIPPING STATES

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may not be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states.

SHIPPING POLICY

All wines are shipped via UPS Ground in most cases. We also ship via FedEx 3 day air and Golden State Overnight (GSO). We can also ship wine overnight at the customers request.

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Hunters Oak is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during ground shipments. Hunters Oak strongly recommends overnight or 3 day air shipments in extreme weather conditions. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

We will replace or refund any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed, or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. All we ask is that the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that was ordered in error. Please send an email to dhalecky@huntersoakvineyard.com to arrange for the return of any flawed product.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.
